Wonderboy YASH GUPTA selected in International Physics Olympiad.

MDSian once again added glory in International Olympiads. This time the result came in2011-09-17 11.51.53 Physics, in which WONDER BOY Master Yash Gupta was selected for International Physics Olympiad for final stage (stage V). He is the only student from the state of Rajasthan among Top 5 students to represent India at International Level. His practical experiment was rated as the best among all the participants. The other 4 students are from Bhilai, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Pune.

 

This Olympiad is organized by Homi Bhaba Center for Science Education in 5 stages. The total 43 students were qualified for in its Stage-III which included 2 MDSians YASH GUPTA & ANIRUDH SHARMA for Orientation Cum Selection Camp (OCSC) which was conducted in Mumbai, out of which 5 students were selected. These students will represent India in Copenhagen, Denmark on July 2013.

 

Presently Yash Gupta is studying in Std XII in Integrated classroom program of Resonance and MDS.

 

According to Dr. Shailendra Somani (Director – MDS School)– YASH GUPTA, earlier brought laurels in 2010 by winning Gold Medal in International Junior Science Olympiad  (IJSO) in 2010 & Silver Medal in International Earth Science Olympiad(IESO) in 2011.
